From the Idaho Falls City Center, head southeast on Park Ave towards 1st St. Continue on Park Ave for about 0.5 miles. Turn left onto E 1st St and walk for approximately 0.2 miles until you reach the intersection with S Boulevard. Cross S Boulevard and continue straight onto the paved path that leads to the river. Follow the path along the riverbank for about 0.3 miles, and you will see the Elephant Hunters Historical Marker located near the riverside.

Start at the Idaho Falls Greenbelt, which you can access from various points around the city. Head east along the Greenbelt trail for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with S Boulevard. Take a right onto S Boulevard and continue south for about 0.2 miles. Turn left onto the path that leads towards the river. The Elephant Hunters Historical Marker will be visible along the riverbank after a short ride.
