Car

If you're traveling by car, start from downtown Boise. Head southeast on W Idaho St toward S 5th St. Turn right onto S 5th St and continue onto S Broadway Ave. Follow signs for ID-21 N. Merge onto ID-21 N and continue for approximately 10 miles. You will see signs for Lucky Peak State Park. The park entrance will be on your right at 9725 ID-21, Boise, ID 83716.
Public Transportation

For public transportation, take the ValleyRide bus line #1 from downtown Boise. The bus will take you to a transfer point at the Boise Airport. From there, you can catch the ValleyRide bus line #8, which goes towards Lucky Peak State Park. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the exact times, as these may vary. The nearest bus stop to the park is at ID-21, and you will need to walk about 1 mile to reach the park entrance.
Bicycle

If you prefer biking, you can ride from Boise to Lucky Peak State Park via the Greenbelt. Start on the Boise Greenbelt, which runs along the Boise River. Follow the Greenbelt east until you reach the end of the path at Lucky Peak Reservoir. From there, you will need to ride on ID-21 for a short distance to reach the park entrance at 9725 ID-21. Always wear a helmet and follow traffic rules.
Walking

Walking to Lucky Peak State Park is not recommended due to the distance (approximately 10 miles from downtown Boise) and the lack of pedestrian pathways along ID-21. However, if you are determined to walk, ensure you have proper footwear and plan for a long trek. Start from downtown Boise, heading southeast towards the park as previously described, but be cautious of traffic along the highways.
