Public Bus
Start at the Meridian City Hall (33 E Broadway Ave, Meridian, ID 83642). Walk to the nearest bus stop, which is at the corner of Broadway Ave and Main St. Board the ValleyRide Bus #9 heading towards Boise. Ride the bus for about 20 minutes and get off at the stop at 4th and Main St in Boise. From there, transfer to Bus #2 towards the Boise Airport. Travel for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop on Old Penitentiary Road. The Idaho Museum of Mining and Geology will be a short walk from the bus stop.

If you prefer biking, start at the Meridian City Hall. Head east on Broadway Ave for about 2 miles until you reach the intersection with Eagle Rd. Turn left onto Eagle Rd and continue for about 3 miles. Then turn right onto Old Penitentiary Road.
