Getting There

  • Public Transit - Bus

    From Berwyn, walk to the nearest bus stop for the Pace Bus Route 302 heading towards the Cicero Pink Line Station. Board the bus and stay on for approximately 15-20 minutes until you reach the Cicero Pink Line Station. Once there, transfer to the Pink Line train towards 18th. Ride for about 20 minutes and get off at the Damen station. From Damen station, walk east towards the Damen Ave & 18th St stop and transfer to the Pink Line towards 54th/Cermak. Get off at the 18th stop and walk to the Washington & State stop. Finally, from there, walk east for about 5 minutes until you reach the Museum of Illusions at 25 E Washington St.

  • Public Transit - Train

    From Berwyn, walk to the Metra station to catch the BNSF Railway Line towards Chicago Union Station. After about a 15-minute ride, you will arrive at the Union Station. Once there, exit the station and walk a few blocks northeast to reach the Ogilvie Transportation Center. From Ogilvie, head to the Washington/Wells station which is a short 10-minute walk. Take the 'Brown Line' or 'Pink Line' train towards Kedzie or 54th/Cermak respectively. Get off at the Washington & Wells station. From there, it’s a 5-minute walk east to the Museum of Illusions at 25 E Washington St.

    If you find yourself near the Berwyn Metra station, you can enjoy a scenic walk to the Museum of Illusions. Head east on Windsor Ave towards Harlem Ave, then turn left on Harlem Ave and walk north until you hit the 16th St intersection. Continue walking east on 16th St until you reach the Kedzie Ave stop. From there, take the Pink Line train towards 54th/Cermak and get off at the Washington & Wells station. After exiting the station, walk east for about 5 minutes to reach the Museum at 25 E Washington St.
