Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, start by getting onto I-74 W from your current location in Central Illinois. Follow I-74 W for approximately 90 miles. Take exit 1A for I-280 W toward Moline. Continue on I-280 W for about 10 miles. Take exit 7B for IL-92 W toward East Moline. Merge onto IL-92 W and continue for about 3 miles. Turn right onto 124 Island Ave in East Moline. The Campbell's Island State Historic Site will be on your left.

• Public Transportation

  If you're using public transportation, you can take a Greyhound bus to Moline, IL. From the Moline bus station, you can take a local taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to get to Campbell's Island. The taxi ride will take about 15 minutes and cost approximately $15-$20.

• Bicycle

  For cyclists, if you're in the Moline area, you can ride along the riverfront bike paths. From downtown Moline, head east on River Drive, then take a left onto 16th Ave, which leads you directly to Campbell's Island. The ride is approximately 5 miles and offers scenic views of the Mississippi River.

• Walking

  If you're nearby and prefer walking, from the East Moline downtown area, head north on 15th St. until you reach 124 Island Ave. This walk is about 1.5 miles and takes approximately 30 minutes. You will enjoy the local scenery along the way.
