If you're starting from the O'Hare International Airport, take the Blue Line train towards Forest Park. Transfer at Washington Station to the Red Line towards 95th/Dan Ryan. Get off at State/Lake Station. From there, walk east on Lake Street, then turn left on State Street. The Marshall Field and Company Building is located at 111 N State St, just a short walk north.

If you're near the Art Institute of Chicago, you can catch the #147 or #151 bus heading north on Michigan Avenue. Get off at the intersection of Michigan Ave and State St. Walk west on State Street for about two blocks. The Marshall Field and Company Building will be on your left at 111 N State St.

If you're in Millennium Park, head north on Michigan Avenue until you reach State Street. Turn right (east) onto State Street, and continue walking for about half a mile. The Marshall Field and Company Building will be on your right at 111 N State St. It's a beautiful walk that will also let you enjoy the city's architecture.
