Getting There

  • Car

    From Matthiessen State Park, exit the park and turn left onto IL-178 N. Continue on IL-178 N for approximately 3.5 miles. Merge onto I-80 W via the ramp to Peru. Stay on I-80 W for about 5 miles, then take exit 75 for IL-251 N toward North Utica. Follow IL-251 N for about 4 miles until you reach the intersection with E Canal St. Turn left onto E Canal St, and the La Salle County Historical Museum will be on your right at 101 E Canal St, North Utica, IL 61373. Parking is available on-site.
