    From Naperville's Metra station, take the BNSF Railway Line towards Chicago Union Station. The train ride will take about 35 minutes. Once you arrive at Union Station, exit the station and head towards the Canal Street exit. After exiting, walk to the Canal Street Bus Terminal and take the #60 or #124 bus towards Michigan Avenue. Get off at the stop near the Art Institute of Chicago, which is located at 111 S Michigan Ave.

    Catch the Pace bus #855 from the downtown Naperville stop. This bus will take you directly to the Chicago area. Once you arrive at the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) bus terminal, transfer to the #147 or #3 bus going towards Michigan Avenue. After a short ride, you will arrive at the Art Institute of Chicago located at 111 S Michigan Ave.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer to bike, you can rent a Divvy bike from one of the stations in Naperville. Ride south towards the DuPage River Trail and follow it until you reach the Illinois Prairie Path. Continue along the path until you reach the Metra train station, where you can take the train into Chicago. Once in Chicago, bike towards Grant Park, and follow the signs to the Art Institute of Chicago at 111 S Michigan Ave.
