    Fort de Chartres is located on Illinois Route 155, about 4 miles west of Prairie du Rocher. From St. Louis, take I-255 south to Illinois Route 3, then follow signs to Prairie du Rocher and Fort de Chartres. Parking is available in two lots near the entrance. There are no fees for parking.
