    If you're driving from the center of Black River Basin, take MO-21 North. Continue on MO-21 for approximately 10 miles until you reach the junction with MO-72. Turn left onto MO-72 West and drive for about 5 miles. Look for signs directing you to New Offenburg. Once in New Offenburg, follow the signs that lead you to Hickory Canyons Natural Area. The entrance is located at the end of a short gravel road off of the main highway. There is no entrance fee to access the natural area.
