From Oak Lawn, head to the nearest bus stop for the Pace Bus Route 379. Board the bus heading towards the 'Cicero & 95th' station. Ride until you reach the 'Cicero & 95th' stop. Transfer to the CTA Orange Line at the 'Cicero' station. Travel towards the 'Loop' and disembark at the 'State/Lake' station. From there, walk about 10 minutes northeast along State Street until you reach 435 N Michigan Ave. The Museum of Ice Cream will be on your left.

Public Transit - Train
Begin at the Oak Lawn Metra Station, which is on the SouthWest Service Line. Take a train towards Chicago Union Station. After arriving at Union Station, walk to the 'Clark/Lake' station for the CTA trains. Board the Brown Line train heading towards 'Kimball' and transfer at 'Washington/Wells' to the Orange Line. Continue on the Orange Line to 'State/Lake' station. Once you exit, walk northeast on State Street for about 10 minutes to arrive at 435 N Michigan Ave, where the Museum of Ice Cream is located.

If you're already in Oak Lawn, you can walk to the Oak Lawn Metra Station. After boarding the train to Chicago, follow the instructions for the train transit option above. Once you arrive in downtown Chicago, walking to 435 N Michigan Ave should take approximately 30-40 minutes. Head northeast along State Street from the 'State/Lake' station until you reach the Museum of Ice Cream.
