From Oak Lawn, head to the nearest Metra station, which is the Oak Lawn station on the SouthWest Service Line. Take a train towards Chicago Union Station. Once you arrive at Union Station, follow the signs to the 'L' (elevated train) and board the Green Line train towards Ashland. Ride for 5 stops and get off at Clark/Lake Station. Transfer to the Blue Line and take the train towards O'Hare. Get off at the Grand Station. From there, walk north on State Street, turn left on North Orleans Street, and continue walking until you reach 820 N Orleans St, Chicago, IL 60610.

From Oak Lawn, find the nearest bus stop for the Pace bus 355 route. Board the bus towards the 95th/Dan Ryan station. Ride until you reach the 95th Street terminal. From there, transfer to the CTA Red Line train and head north towards Howard. Get off at the State/Lake Station, then transfer to the Brown Line and continue to the Merchandise Mart Station. Once you exit, head east towards North Orleans Street and walk to 820 N Orleans St, Chicago, IL 60610.

If you are in Oak Lawn and prefer to walk, you can take a leisurely stroll north towards Chicago. Begin at Oak Lawn Village Hall and follow Southwest Highway north until you reach 95th St. Continue on 95th St to the intersection with Cicero Ave, where you can catch a bus to the nearest train station. Alternatively, you can take a longer route by walking through local parks, but this may take a few hours.
