The Tinley Park Historical Society is located in the heart of downtown Tinley Park. From the Oak Park Avenue Metra station, walk south on Oak Park Avenue to 174th Street, then turn right. The Historical Society will be on your right. The walk is approximately 10 minutes.

Pace Bus route 386 stops near the Historical Society. From the intersection of Oak Park Avenue and 173rd Place/North Street, walk east on 174th Street. The Historical Society will be on your right. A single ride on Pace Bus is $1.75.

Driving
The Tinley Park Historical Society is located at 6727 174th Street. From I-80, exit onto Harlem Avenue and head south. Turn east onto 175th Street, then turn north onto Oak Park Avenue. Turn right onto 174th Street. The Historical Society will be on your right. Free parking is available on weekends and after 10 a.m. on weekdays in the nearby Metra station parking lots. Otherwise, street parking is available. Tinley Park also has an overnight parking ban between 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m..
