Car
From the center of Prairie State, head north on Milwaukee Avenue (IL-21). Continue straight for about 7 miles. You'll pass through several small towns, including Wheeling and Northbrook. Keep an eye out for signs directing you towards Glenview. Once you reach Glenview, look for the signs for Kennicott's Grove Nature Preserve, which is located at 1421 Milwaukee Ave, Glenview, IL 60025. There is free parking available at the preserve.

Public Transportation
To reach Kennicott's Grove Nature Preserve via public transportation, start by taking the Metra train from Prairie State to the Glenview station on the North Central Service line. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arriving at the Glenview train station, exit and transfer to the Pace Bus Route 423, which will take you directly to the preserve. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as they may not run frequently. The bus fare is approximately $2.00.

Walking from Glenview Train Station
If you prefer to walk from the Glenview Train Station to Kennicott's Grove, it's about a 1.5-mile walk. Exit the station and head south on Waukegan Road. Continue to Milwaukee Avenue, then turn left. The preserve will be on your right at 1421 Milwaukee Ave. The walk will take approximately 30 minutes.
