After obtaining a visitor pass (if required) at the Visitor Control Center, follow the signs to Davenport Drive. The Colonel Davenport House will be on the north side of the island. Note that a U.S. photo ID is needed for persons 16 years and older. Parking is available in front of the house. There are no toll roads on this route.

    From downtown Davenport, Iowa, take MetroLINK bus route 30 towards Rock Island. Get off at the 16th St & Davenport Ave stop. From there, walk south on 16th St toward Davenport Ave, then turn right onto Davenport Ave. The Colonel Davenport Historical House will be on your left. The bus fare is $1.00.
