The structure comprises a Vimana (sanctum) and Jagamohana (prayer hall). The exterior walls showcase carvings of deities, birds, animals, and scenes from mythology. Inside, tantric-related images and sculptures of Shiva and Chamunda are engraved. The temple also marked the first use of iron beams in temple construction.
