If you are starting from the MG Marg area, simply walk towards the main pedestrian street of Mahatma Gandhi Marg. As you stroll along, look for the large high mast flagpole, which is prominently displayed in the center of the square. It is easily visible from various points along the street, so keep an eye out for the Indian National Flag waving high above.

If you are coming from the Enchey Monastery, head down towards the main road. Once you reach the intersection, turn left onto Kazi Road and continue walking straight until you reach the junction with Mahatma Gandhi Marg. Turn right and walk straight until you see the large flag at the center of the area.

From the Gangtok Ropeway station, exit the station and walk down towards the main market area. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Mahatma Gandhi Marg. Turn left and proceed up the street; the high mast flag will be visible as you approach.
