If you are in the center of Gangtok, head towards MG Marg, which is a popular pedestrian street. From the center, walk towards the direction of the Sikkim Tourism Office. Once you reach the Sikkim Tourism Office, continue straight ahead until you see the entrance to MG Marg on your left. Follow the pathway through MG Marg, which is lined with shops, cafes, and restaurants. Continue walking along MG Marg until you reach the end of the street, where you will find M. G. Market, located in Arithang.

Locate a shared taxi stand in the central area of Gangtok. You can ask locals or look for the signboards. Board a shared taxi heading towards Arithang. The fare is usually affordable and varies by distance. Inform the driver that you wish to go to M. G. Market. The taxi will drop you off near the market area. From there, walk a short distance to reach the entrance of M. G. Market.
