From the Darjeeling Mall, head down toward Chowrasta. Once at Chowrasta, take the road leading towards the Darjeeling Railway Station. Continue straight on this road, passing by the local shops and cafes. After about 15-20 minutes of walking, keep an eye out for the sign for Mahatma Gandhi Marg. Turn left onto Mahatma Gandhi Marg and continue walking. You will see the Thakurbari Temple on your right after approximately 10 minutes.

Trekking
For those looking for a more scenic route, start from the Darjeeling Observatory Hill. Take the trek down toward the local market area, and from there, follow the path that leads to Mahatma Gandhi Marg. This trek will take you through some beautiful viewpoints and local neighborhoods. Once you reach Mahatma Gandhi Marg, the Thakurbari Temple will be about a 10-minute walk ahead on your right.

Local Transport (Rickshaw)
If you prefer not to walk, you can take a shared rickshaw from the Mall area or the local market. Ask for a ride to Mahatma Gandhi Marg, and simply tell the driver that you are going to Thakurbari Temple. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. The rickshaw will drop you off near the entrance of the temple.
