Getting There

  • Foot

    Starting from M.G. Marg, head east towards the main road. Continue walking along the road until you reach the junction near the Police Bazaar. From there, take the right turn onto Ranka Road. Keep walking straight; you will pass a few local shops and eateries along the way. As you continue on Ranka Road, you will see signposts pointing towards Ranka Ani Gumpa. Follow these signs until you reach the entrance of the monastery, which is located on your left side after approximately 3 kilometers.

    From M.G. Marg, locate the nearest bus stop and take a local bus heading towards Ranka or Tashi View Point. Inform the conductor that you wish to get off at Ranka Ani Gumpa. The bus will take you close to the monastery, and you may need to walk around 1 kilometer from the bus stop to reach the entrance. Follow the signs along the way.
