Car
From Himalayan, take the Prithvi Highway (H12) towards Pokhara. After approximately 30 km, take the exit towards Machhapuchchhre. Continue on this road for about 15 km until you reach the Great Machhapuchchhre Trail area. Look for signs directing you to Khumai dada. Parking may be available near the trailhead, but ensure to check for any parking fees.
Public Transportation
From Himalayan, board a local bus or microbus heading towards Pokhara. The bus will take you along the Prithvi Highway. After about 30 km, ask the driver to drop you near the Machhapuchchhre turn-off. From there, you can either hire a taxi or walk approximately 15 km to reach the Great Machhapuchchhre Trail area. If walking, ensure you have adequate supplies and check local maps for the best route.
Hiking
Once you arrive at the Great Machhapuchchhre Trail area, you will need to hike to Khumai dada. The hike usually takes about 1-2 hours, depending on your fitness level.
