If you are driving from Srinagar, take the National Highway 1A towards Jammu. After approximately 70 km, you will reach the town of Pahalgam. From Pahalgam, follow the road leading to Aru Valley. After about 12 km, you will arrive at Aru, where you can park your vehicle. From Aru, you can either trek or hire a local pony to take you towards Visters of Kaunsarnag. The trek will take around 4-5 hours, and the pony ride may take around the same time depending on the pony's speed.

From Srinagar, take a bus or shared taxi to Pahalgam. This journey takes about 2-3 hours and typically costs around INR 200-300. Once in Pahalgam, you can catch a local taxi to Aru Valley, which may charge you around INR 500-700. At Aru, you can either trek or hire a pony to reach Visters of Kaunsarnag. The trek is approximately 12 km and will take about 4-5 hours.
