Car
If you're traveling by car, begin your journey from Srinagar. Take the NH1 (National Highway 1) towards Gulmarg. After approximately 35 kilometers, you will reach Tangmarg. Look for signs directing you to Drang Tangmarg. The last stretch is about 4 kilometers from Tangmarg, and the road will take you through beautiful scenery. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition, as some parts of the road may be narrow.

Public Transportation - Bus
From Srinagar, head to the bus station and take a bus heading towards Gulmarg. Buses are available regularly, and the fare is usually around INR 100-150. Inform the bus driver or conductor that you want to get off at Tangmarg. Once you arrive in Tangmarg, you can hire a local taxi to take you the remaining 4 kilometers to Drang Tangmarg. The taxi fare should be around INR 200-300.

Public Transportation - Shared Taxi
From Srinagar, you can also opt for a shared taxi to Gulmarg, which is more convenient and faster. Shared taxis can be found near the main taxi stand in Srinagar. The fare is approximately INR 300-400 per person. Request the driver to drop you off at Tangmarg. After reaching Tangmarg, you can take a local taxi to Drang Tangmarg for about INR 200-300, similar to the bus option.
