Car
If you're driving, head towards Kumily in the Idukki district of Kerala. From the city center of Kumily, take the Main Road towards Thekkady (Kumily - Thekkady Road). After approximately 2 kilometers, you will see a sign for Abraham's Spice Garden on your left. Turn left onto the road leading to Springvalley. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the entrance to Abraham's Spice Garden. There is parking available on-site.
Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Abraham's Spice Garden by bus, first take a bus to Kumily from major cities like Kochi or Kottayam. Once you arrive at the Kumily bus station, exit the station and look for local auto-rickshaws or taxis. You can negotiate a fare or use a ride-sharing app if available. The fare to Abraham's Spice Garden should be around ₹100-₹150 depending on the distance. It is approximately a 10-minute ride from the bus station.
Local Auto-Rickshaw
After reaching Kumily, you can hire an auto-rickshaw directly from the bus station. Make sure to confirm the fare beforehand. The auto-rickshaw drivers are generally familiar with the area, and the ride to Abraham's Spice Garden will take about 10 minutes, costing around ₹100-₹150. Simply tell the driver to take you to Abraham's Spice Garden located in Springvalley.
Walking
If you are staying close to the Kumily town center and would like to walk to Abraham's Spice Garden, head towards the Main Road (Kumily - Thekkady Road) and walk for about 2 kilometers. Look for the sign for Abraham's Spice Garden on your left. The walk is pleasant, and you can enjoy the scenic views of the surroundings. Ensure to wear comfortable shoes, as the route may have uneven paths.
