If you are in Fort Kochi or Mattancherry, head towards the Fort Kochi jetty. Purchase a ticket for a ferry heading to Vallarpadam. The ferry ride offers beautiful views of the backwaters and takes about 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Vallarpadam ferry terminal, exit the terminal and walk straight for approximately 1 kilometer along the main road until you reach the National Shrine Basilica of Our Lady of Ransom.
