A Wonderful Cooking & Market Tour Experience in Kolkata!

Had such an amazing day shopping at the local market and cooking! The class was originally set for traditional dishes, but when I said I wanted to make biryani, the host was kind enough to make a special menu with biryani, chicken curry, and side dishes. Everything was super punctual, and we had so much fun chatting after cooking. Thank you so much! If you’re ever in Kolkata, you should definitely check it out!

I cannot recommend this cooking experience highly enough. Zinnia was incredibly organized, explained each step of preparing several dishes in a simple and approachable way, and provided detailed recipes to take home. I not only feel confident that I can recreate the meals myself, but I also genuinely enjoyed spending the evening with Zinnia and her family. They are some of the kindest and most welcoming people you could meet. It was a delightful experience on every level: learning new skills, enjoying delicious food, and sharing wonderful company.

Lovely experience with Zinnia and her family They were so welcoming and warm , and gave me and my granddaughter a truly delightful experience of Bengali cuisine and hospitality. The food was fabulous and the teaching was so accessible and interesting We learn a lot, got recipes to take home, sampled many amazing dishes, and got to eat with the family, who were so lovely.
