The distance is approximately 165 km and can take around 4-5 hours depending on traffic. Once you reach Murud, follow the signs to Murud-Janjira Fort, which is located on an island about 2 km off the coast. You can park your car at the designated parking area near the jetty.

You can take a bus from Mumbai to Murud. There are several private and state-run buses that operate on this route. The journey takes around 5-6 hours. Once you arrive at the Murud bus depot, you can take a local auto-rickshaw or taxi to the Murud jetty, which is about 2 km away. The fare for the auto-rickshaw should be around ₹50-₹100.

To reach Murud-Janjira Fort, you will need to take a boat ride from the Murud jetty. Regular boats operate from the jetty to the fort, and the ride takes about 15-20 minutes.
