If you are driving from Leh town, head south on the Leh-Srinagar highway (NH 1D). After about 6 km, take a left turn towards Stok village. Continue on this road for approximately 10 km until you reach Stok Palace. Thakskan Home stay is located near Stok Palace. Look for local signs or ask locals for directions if needed.

From Leh, you can take a shared taxi or local bus towards Stok. Shared taxis are available from the main taxi stand in Leh. The fare to Stok is usually around INR 100-150 per person. Once you arrive at Stok, you may ask locals for directions to Thakskan Home stay, which is near Stok Palace. It's a short walk from the main village area.

For those who prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle in Leh and cycle towards Stok. The ride is approximately 16 km and offers beautiful views of the landscape.
