Getting There

    If you are driving from Mahabalipuram, head northwest on ECR (East Coast Road) towards Chennai. Continue on ECR for about 30 km until you reach the junction with Mount Road (also known as Anna Salai). Turn left onto Mount Road. Follow Mount Road for approximately 10 km. When you reach the Guindy area, look for signs for Guindy National Park. The park is located at Rangeguindy, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600025. There is no entry fee for vehicles, but parking fees may apply.

  • Public Transportation (Bus)

    From Mahabalipuram, head to the nearest bus stop and take a local bus heading towards Chennai. Look for buses that stop at Kotturpuram or Adyar, as these will get you closer to Guindy. The fare is typically around ₹30-₹50. Once you arrive at Kotturpuram, transfer to a local bus or auto-rickshaw heading to Guindy National Park. The total travel time may take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic.

    From Mahabalipuram, take an auto-rickshaw to the nearest railway station (Chengalpattu or Kanchipuram). Board a local train heading towards Chennai Egmore or Chennai Central.
