If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Mahabalipuram. Head northwest on East Coast Road (ECR) and continue for approximately 15 km. Take the exit towards Chennai and merge onto the SH49. Continue straight and follow signs for Saidapet, Chennai. Once you reach the area of Saidapet, look for Lourd Doss Grotto Road. The shrine is located at 66, Lourd Doss Grotto Rd, on the left side. Parking is usually available nearby, but check for any local restrictions.

For those using public transportation, you can take a local bus from Mahabalipuram to Chennai. Buses frequently run from the Mahabalipuram bus station to Chennai. Once in Chennai, disembark at Saidapet bus stop. From there, you can either walk or take an auto-rickshaw to Lourd Doss Grotto Road. The shrine is about 1 km from the bus stop. Be sure to have small change for the auto-rickshaw, which may cost around INR 50-100 depending on the distance.
