Start from Police Bazar, one of the central locations in Shillong. Head towards the main road, and walk towards the direction of Laitumkhrah. After walking for about 1 km, you will reach the junction at Laitumkhrah. Take a right towards Lower Mawprem. Continue walking straight for around 1.5 km until you reach Garikhana. Keep an eye out for local signage or ask locals for directions to Lum Kshaid View Point, as it may not be directly visible from the main road.

Public Transport (Local Taxi/Auto-rickshaw)

From Police Bazar, you can take a local taxi or auto-rickshaw to Lower Mawprem. The fare should be around 50-100 INR. Once you reach Lower Mawprem, ask the driver to drop you at Garikhana. From there, it's a short walk of about 500 meters to Lum Kshaid View Point. Look for signs or ask locals for the exact path leading to the viewpoint.
