Getting There

Car
If you are driving from Gangtok, head towards the South Sikkim district. Take the NH10 highway and follow the signs to Ravangla. The total journey will take approximately 3-4 hours (about 100 km). Once you reach Ravangla, continue on the road heading towards Maenam Hill. After approximately 12 km, you will reach a fork. Take the left fork towards Cho-Dzo Lake. Ensure your vehicle has adequate fuel as there are limited refueling options along the way.

From Gangtok, you can take a shared taxi or bus to Ravangla. The journey takes about 4 hours. Once you reach Ravangla, look for local jeep services or shared taxis that go to Cho-Dzo Lake. The fare for the bus to Ravangla is around INR 150-200 per person, and the jeep ride to the lake will cost around INR 300-400 per person. The jeep ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
