Ensure your vehicle has adequate fuel as there are limited refueling options along the way.
Public Transport (Bus)

From Gangtok, you can take a shared taxi or bus to Ravangla. The journey takes about 4 hours. Once you reach Ravangla, look for local jeep services or shared taxis that go to Cho-Dzo Lake. The fare for the bus to Ravangla is around INR 150-200 per person, and the jeep ride to the lake will cost around INR 300-400 per person. The jeep ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
Trekking

For the adventurous, you can also trek to Cho-Dzo Lake from Ravangla. Begin your trek from the town, heading towards Maenam Hill.
