If you're traveling by car, start from Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. Head southwest on the NH10 highway towards Pelling. After approximately 2.5 hours (about 120 km), you'll reach the town of Pelling. From Pelling, take the road towards Dentam, which is about 15 km away. The road will take you through beautiful landscapes. Once you arrive in Dentam, follow the local signs to the Dentam Valley View Point, located at 743P+RPJ, Dentam, Sikkim 737113.
Public Transportation
To reach Dentam Valley View Point via public transportation, start your journey from Gangtok. Take a shared taxi or local bus heading to Pelling. The journey will take around 4-5 hours and will cost approximately 200-300 INR per person. Once you arrive in Pelling, you can hire a local taxi or shared jeep to Dentam, which is about 15 km away. The local taxi fare should be around 300-500 INR, depending on the number of passengers. After reaching Dentam, follow the local signs to the Valley View Point.
Local Transport
Once you are in Dentam, you can walk or hire a local guide to take you to the Dentam Valley View Point. The distance from the town center to the viewpoint is about 1-2 km. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the path might involve some walking uphill.
