Car
If you're driving from Gangtok, start on the NH10 towards Singtam. Continue for about 10 km until you reach the junction for North Sikkim Highway. Follow the signs to North Sikkim, taking the left turn onto the highway. Drive for approximately 8 km, and look out for the signs indicating Gonjang Monastery. The entrance to the monastery will be on your left along the highway. There is parking available near the entrance.

Public Transportation
To reach Gonjang Monastery via public transport from Gangtok, head to the Sikkim National Transport (SNT) bus terminal in Gangtok. Look for a shared taxi or a minibus heading towards Mangan or Lachen. Inform the driver you want to stop at Gonjang Monastery on the North Sikkim Highway. The journey will take about 30 minutes. The fare typically ranges from 50 to 100 INR per person. Once you reach the vicinity of the monastery, you might need to walk approximately 500 meters to the entrance.

If you are already nearby, you can walk to Gonjang Monastery from the main road. Follow the North Sikkim Highway heading towards Mangan. The monastery is located about 500 meters from the nearest bus stop. Look for the entrance on your left; there are clear signboards guiding you. The path is relatively straightforward and takes about 10 minutes on foot.
