Car
If you're driving from Gangtok, take the NH10 towards Mangan. After about 15 km, look for the turnoff towards Phensang Monastery, which is located approximately 600 meters above the North Sikkim National Highway. The monastery is well-marked, so keep an eye out for local signage. Parking is available near the monastery.
Public Transportation
From Gangtok, you can take a shared taxi or a local bus heading towards Mangan. Request the driver to drop you off at the Phensang Monastery turnoff on NH10. From there, it is about a 15-20 minute uphill walk to the monastery. Ensure you confirm with the driver that they will stop at the correct location. The cost for the shared taxi is approximately ₹150-₹200 per person.
