Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. Take the NH10 highway towards Rangpo. After approximately 30 km, you will reach Rangpo. From Rangpo, continue on NH10 towards Singtam and then take the road towards Sirwani. Follow this road for about 10 km until you reach the Barnyak Forest Block area. Look for signage indicating Srijanga Fall. Parking may be available nearby, but be sure to check local regulations.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take a shared taxi or bus from Gangtok to Rangpo. Shared taxis are readily available and will take about 1 hour. From Rangpo, you can hire a private taxi or a shared vehicle to Barnyak Forest Block, which is around 10 km away. The cost for the taxi from Rangpo to Barnyak Forest Block may vary, but expect to pay around ₹200-₹300. Once you arrive in Barnyak, you can walk to Srijanga Fall, which is a short distance from the main road.
Walking
After reaching Barnyak Forest Block by car or public transport, you can enjoy a scenic walk to Srijanga Fall. The path is generally well-marked, but it is advisable to ask locals for directions if needed. The walk takes approximately 15-20 minutes, allowing you to take in the beautiful surroundings. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes as the terrain may be uneven in places. Keep an eye out for local flora and fauna along the way.
