    Getting There

    Bus

    From Siliguri, head to the Siliguri Junction Bus Stand, which is centrally located. Look for buses heading to Darjeeling; these are frequent and can be found on various platforms. Purchase your ticket at the counter or from the conductor on the bus. The journey will take approximately 3 to 4 hours, depending on traffic and weather conditions. The bus will take you through scenic routes, and you will be dropped off at the main bus terminal in Darjeeling.

    Shared Jeep

    Make your way to the shared jeep stand, located near the Siliguri Junction or the Bagdogra Airport. Look for jeeps that are going to Darjeeling. Shared jeeps leave as soon as they fill up with passengers, so you may not have to wait long. The ride is faster than the bus, taking about 2.5 to 3 hours, and you will enjoy beautiful views along the way. The shared jeep will drop you off at Chowrasta, the main square in Darjeeling.

    Train

    Travel to the New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) from your location in Siliguri, which is about 10 kilometers away. You can take an auto-rickshaw or a local bus to reach the station. Board a toy train heading to Darjeeling, which departs from NJP. The journey is scenic and takes approximately 7 to 8 hours. You will arrive at the Darjeeling Railway Station, which is near the town center.
