If you are at the Varanasi Railway Station, exit the station and head southwest on Station Road. Continue walking for about 1 km until you reach Godowlia Chowk. From Godowlia Chowk, take the right onto Dashashwamedh Ghat Road. Follow this road for approximately 500 meters until you reach Dashashwamedh Ghat. The Ganga Arti takes place at this ghat, and you can find a good spot by arriving at least 30 minutes early.

From Assi Ghat, head north along the riverbank towards Dashashwamedh Ghat. It's about a 2 km walk along the ghats. You will pass several other ghats along the way.
