Walking
If you are at the Varanasi Railway Station, exit the station and head southwest on Station Road. Continue walking for about 1 km until you reach Godowlia Chowk. From Godowlia Chowk, take the right onto Dashashwamedh Ghat Road. Follow this road for approximately 500 meters until you reach Dashashwamedh Ghat. The Ganga Arti takes place at this ghat, and you can find a good spot by arriving at least 30 minutes early.

Walking
From Assi Ghat, head north along the riverbank towards Dashashwamedh Ghat. It's about a 2 km walk along the ghats. You will pass several other ghats along the way. Enjoy the scenery and the atmosphere as you approach Dashashwamedh Ghat, where the Ganga Arti is performed. Make sure to arrive early to secure a good viewing spot.

Rickshaw
If you are near the Banaras Hindu University, you can take an auto-rickshaw to Dashashwamedh Ghat. Inform the driver to take you to Dashashwamedh Ghat Road. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, you can easily walk to the ghat area where the Ganga Arti will take place.

If you are at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, walk towards the river and take the narrow street leading you to Dashashwamedh Ghat. It’s about a 500-meter walk and will take you through vibrant local streets. As you approach the ghat, you will see the river and the crowds gathering for the Ganga Arti.
