From Gary, head to the nearest bus station. You can catch a bus to Chicago at the Gary Public Transportation Corporation (GPTC) station. Look for the bus line that goes to Chicago. Once you arrive in Chicago, you will need to transfer to the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) bus or train. Take the CTA Red Line towards Howard and get off at the Chicago Station. From there, walk east on State Street until you reach Michigan Ave. Turn left and walk towards E Pearson St. The destination is at 163 E Pearson St, which should be about a 10-minute walk.

Train
Take the South Shore Line train from Gary Metro Center to Millennium Station in Chicago. This train runs regularly and is a comfortable way to travel. Once you arrive at Millennium Station, exit and head towards the nearby CTA station. Take the CTA Red Line northbound to the Chicago Station. After you get off, walk east on State Street until you reach Michigan Ave, then turn left and proceed to E Pearson St. Your destination will be on your right at 163 E Pearson St.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from a local rental service in Gary. Take the Gary Rail Trail heading east towards the city of Chicago. Follow the trail until you reach the Lakefront Trail in Chicago. Head north along the Lakefront Trail until you arrive at the Streeterville area. From there, you can navigate to E Pearson St by heading west on the streets. Keep an eye on your GPS for the most efficient route to 163 E Pearson St.

If you are already in downtown Gary, you can walk to the Gary Public Transportation Corporation station to catch a bus to Chicago. The journey may take some time, but it is a scenic route.
