Getting There

  • Public Transit - Bus

    To get to the Indiana Historical Society at 450 W Ohio St, Indianapolis, IN 46202 by bus, start by locating the nearest bus stop. If you are near the Indianapolis City Market, take the Red Line bus towards the 38th St & I-65. Get off at the stop at Ohio St & West St (approximately 12 minutes). From there, walk west on Ohio St for about 3 blocks until you reach the Indiana Historical Society on your left. It should take about 5 minutes to walk.

  • Public Transit - Light Rail

    If you are near the Cultural Trail, use the Blue Line or the Red Line light rail. Board the Blue Line heading towards the Indianapolis Airport. Get off at the stop at Washington St & West St. Walk north on West St for about 4 blocks, then turn left onto Ohio St. The Indiana Historical Society will be on your right after about a 5-minute walk.
