Getting There

• Walking

  If you are already in the Fountain Square area, the Fountain Square Neighborhood is within walking distance. Start at the intersection of Virginia Avenue and Prospect Street. Head south on Virginia Avenue for about two blocks until you reach Prospect Street. Turn left onto Prospect Street and continue walking for another block. You will arrive at the Fountain Square Neighborhood, located at the intersection of Prospect Street and S State Avenue. Look for the fountain as your landmark.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  If you prefer public transportation, you can take the IndyGo bus service. Locate the nearest bus stop on Virginia Avenue. You will want to catch the Route 11 bus towards the south. The fare for a single ride is $1.75. Stay on the bus for approximately 10 minutes, and get off at the stop at Prospect Street and S State Avenue. From there, it’s a short walk to your destination at the intersection.

• Biking

  For those who enjoy biking, there are bike rental stations available in Fountain Square. Rent a bike from one of the stations located near the main intersection of Virginia Avenue and Prospect Street. Once you have a bike, head south on Virginia Avenue, turn left onto Prospect Street, and ride for about two blocks until you reach the intersection of Prospect Street and S State Avenue. Secure your bike at the bike rack available in the Fountain Square Neighborhood.
