    If you are starting from downtown Richmond, walk east on Broad Street until you reach N 18th St. Turn left onto N 18th St and continue until you reach E Grace St. Turn right onto E Grace St and walk until you reach N 21st St. Turn left onto N 21st St, which will become Hampton St. Continue straight until you reach Maymont at 1700 Hampton St. The walk should take approximately 30 minutes.

    From the downtown area, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the GRTC bus #1 (Broad Street) heading east. Get off at the stop at Broad St & 18th St. From there, transfer to the GRTC bus #3 (Hampton & Broad) heading south. Get off at the stop near the intersection of Hampton St and 21st St. From this point, walk a short distance down Hampton St to reach Maymont at 1700 Hampton St. The total travel time should be around 45 minutes, including waiting times.
