Getting There

• Car

  From downtown Portage, head south on US-6 (Eagle Ridge Dr) for about 2 miles. Turn left onto Portage Ave and continue for half a mile. Turn right onto Riverwalk Dr, and you will find the Portage Lakefront & Riverwalk at 100 Riverwalk Dr. Look for the parking lot on your left.

• Public Transportation

  If you are taking the bus, locate the nearest bus stop for the Portage Transit system. Board the Route 1 bus heading towards the Portage Plaza. Get off at the Portage Plaza stop, then walk south on Portage Ave for about 0.6 miles until you reach Riverwalk Dr. Turn left onto Riverwalk Dr, and the Portage Lakefront & Riverwalk will be on the right at 100 Riverwalk Dr.

• Car

  If you are coming from the Indiana Dunes National Park, take IN-49 North to US-6. Turn right onto US-6 and drive for about 5 miles. Turn left onto Portage Ave and then right onto Riverwalk Dr. The Portage Lakefront & Riverwalk will be located at 100 Riverwalk Dr, look for the parking area.

• Car

  From the Portage High School, head west on 300 N. Turn left onto US-6 (W 300 N) and drive for about 1.5 miles. Turn right onto Portage Ave, continue for half a mile, and then turn right onto Riverwalk Dr. The destination will be at 100 Riverwalk Dr, with the parking area on the left side.
