    If you are starting your journey from Ubud, take a local bemo (a shared minivan) from Ubud Market to Klungkung. Once you reach Klungkung, transfer to another bemo heading towards Amlapura. Inform the driver that you need to get off at Besakih. The bemo will drop you near the entrance of Pura Penataran Pande Besakih.

    After arriving at Besakih, you'll need to walk approximately 1 kilometer uphill to reach the temple complex. Follow the signs directing you to Pura Penataran Pande Besakih. The path is well-marked, and you will pass by local shops and stalls along the way.
