Walking
If you are starting from Ubud, head east on Jalan Raya Ubud towards Jalan Monkey Forest. Turn left onto Jalan Monkey Forest and continue until you reach the intersection with Jalan Raya Lod Tunduh. Turn right onto Jalan Raya Lod Tunduh and keep walking until you reach the main road, Jalan Raya Campuhan. From there, you can take a local bemo (minibus) or walk to the nearest bus terminal.

Public Transportation
From the Ubud bus terminal, take a bemo heading towards Karangasem. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to get off at Besakih Temple. The ride will take approximately 1 hour. After you arrive at Besakih Temple, you will need to walk towards the hiking area. Follow the signs towards Taman Edelweis, which is about a 30-minute walk from the temple. This path will lead you through local villages and beautiful landscapes.

Walking
Once you reach the area near Taman Edelweis, look for the trail that leads to Pos 1 Pererenan. This is a well-marked hiking trail. The entrance to the trail is located slightly uphill from the main road. Follow the path for about 20 minutes until you arrive at Pos 1. Be sure to carry water and wear comfortable shoes for the hike.
