The journey may take around 1-2 hours depending on traffic.

Once you reach the junction, you will have to find a way to get to Denpasar, Bali. One option is to take a ferry from Balikpapan to Surabaya, and then catch another ferry from Surabaya to Bali. After arriving in Bali, head to the main bus station in Denpasar. From there, take a bus heading towards Kintamani. The buses are frequent, and you can ask the locals for the right bus. The journey to Kintamani will take approximately 2-3 hours.
