Car
If you are driving from Surabaya, take the Jl. Ngagel Jaya Selatan towards Jl. Raya Juanda. Follow the signs for Jl. Surabaya-Malang/Route 1. Continue for about 150 km until you reach Situbondo. Once in Situbondo, follow the signs for Baluran National Park by turning onto Jl. Raya Baluran. Drive for about 15 km until you reach the park entrance at Randu Agung, TN, Baluran. Parking is available at the park entrance, but a vehicle entrance fee may apply.
Public Transportation
From Surabaya, take a bus from the Surabaya Bus Terminal to Situbondo. The bus ride takes approximately 4-5 hours. Once you arrive at the Situbondo bus terminal, you can take a local minibus or ojek (motorcycle taxi) to Baluran National Park entrance, which is about 15 km away. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand. There may be a small fee to enter the park.
Taxi or Ride-sharing Service
If you prefer a more direct route from Situbondo, you can hire a taxi or use a ride-sharing service. Simply request a ride to Baluran National Park Authority, and the driver will take you directly to the entrance. The cost will vary depending on your negotiation skills or the app's fare estimate, but expect to pay around IDR 100,000 to IDR 150,000.
