    If you're driving from the main tourist areas around Lake Toba, such as Tuk Tuk or Parapat, take the road towards Merek. Follow the signs for Berastagi and Merek. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours (about 60 km). Once you reach Merek, look for directions towards Air Terjun Sipiso Piso; it will be well marked. You will have to drive up a winding road for about 10 km from Merek to reach the parking area near the waterfall. Expect to pay a parking fee of around IDR 5,000.

    To reach Air Terjun Sipiso Piso by public transport, first take a bus from Parapat or Tuk Tuk to Merek. Buses run regularly and the fare is around IDR 30,000 to 50,000, depending on your starting point. Upon arriving in Merek, you can hire a local ojek (motorcycle taxi) to take you to the waterfall. The ojek ride will cost you about IDR 20,000 to 30,000. The ride takes about 20-30 minutes on a winding road.
