From Rantepao, the main town in Tana Toraja, head southeast on the main road (Jalan Poros Rantepao - Makale) for approximately 15 km. Look for the sign pointing towards Malimbong Balepe. Turn onto the road leading to Malimbong Balepe. Continue for about 5 km until you reach the entrance to Desa Wisata Kole Sawangan, which will be on your left. Parking is available near the entrance.

From Rantepao, locate the minibus terminal near the central market. Take a minibus heading to Malimbong Balepe; the fare is around IDR 10,000. The journey will take about 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. Inform the driver you are going to Desa Wisata Kole Sawangan. Once you arrive at Malimbong Balepe, you may need to walk approximately 1 km to reach the entrance of the village.
