    If you are traveling by car, start from Rantepao, the main town in Tana Toraja. Head south on Jalan Poros Rantepao - Makale for about 10 km until you reach the intersection at Bittuang. Turn left onto Jalan Bittuang and continue for about 5 km. Look for a sign indicating Talondo Tallu Waterfall, and follow the smaller road leading into the forest. There is a parking area near the entrance to the waterfall site.

    For those using public transportation, take a minibus (angkot) from Rantepao to Makale. Inform the driver you wish to stop at Bittuang. The fare is usually around IDR 10,000.
